Don't miss Robots + Us, which will end its successful run at The Manitoba Museum on
January 17th.
With over 6,000 square feet of interactive displays, there's a ton to see and do that will thrill
all ages. You can build robots, drive robots, control robots, and see some of the robots that
we're familiar with from science and science fiction.
"The robots in the exhibit are really good at mimicking people, and they blur the line
between biology and technology. It's quite eerie," says Scott Young, exhibit spokesperson.
"They seem to have personalities and feelings, even though you know they really don't.
You know it's just a computer, but still... It freaked me out."
You'll see that the slightest variations in leg shape or body weight will make your
jitterbug dance differently from all the rest. (You can take home your creation for an
additional $5 fee, or recycle it for future visitors to use.)
You can also enter to win your very own robot! Visit
