The Museum is Manitoba’s largest repository
of heritage materials and supplier of heritage services.
The Museum has collected and currently conserves more
than 2,300,000 humanities artifacts and more than 200,000
natural history specimens. With interpretive Museum Galleries
based on the collections, numerous travelling exhibitions,
a Planetarium and a Science Gallery, the institution interprets
the history of the province and the world, and explores
concepts of science and astronomy. |
